A children’s pastor at heart, Mel brings wonderful humor and relevant teaching to every audience he encounters. He is always looking for the next opportunity to share and show Jesus. As an avid barbecue fan, he loves meeting new friends for lunch to discuss Scripture.
As an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, Mel loves building the global Church, and his heart burns for Muslims to know Jesus. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Global Initiative. In that role, he built and oversees the ministry’s online training platform and coordinates international training, focusing on South Asia and Africa. He also serves as the Pipeline Coordinator for Global Initiative, facilitating new global workers on their journey in missions.
Jillian is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has been preaching since the age of 14 because no one told her not to. She’s a words girl and is most at home with her Bible, large stack of books, and in deep conversation over lots of coffee. Her fingernails are perpetually stained yellow due to consuming large amounts of curry. Her greatest joy is simply to know Jesus and make Him known.
Jillian serves on the leadership team for International Ministries as the regional rep for the Assemblies of God Network of Women Ministers through AGWM. She invests in the women who are investing in the world. By fostering resilience and healthy leadership practices, she helps fellow female ministers grow in both who they are and how they serve—so all can sustain a lifetime of faithful, effective ministry.
